Positive Affirmations for Money, Work & the Fear of Falling Behind

5 Positive Affirmations Every Woman
Should Live By

Money keeping you awake at night? You’re far from alone.

A 2025 Women & Money Study found that 81% of women surveyed said their finances keep them up at night—from bills and unexpected expenses to simply having enough for the life they want.

Money worries follow us to work, too. 45% said they didn’t feel they could leave their job right now. Another 14% didn’t especially like their job, but stayed because it paid the bills.

Behind thoughts like What if I lose my job? Why is there still not enough? is often something deeper. Maybe what we really want isn’t simply more money, but what it represents: security, peace, possibility and freedom.

Before You Affirm More Money, Find the Feeling

“I want more money” isn’t the best affirmation.

Go deeper: What do you want money to give you—security, freedom, more for your family?

Affirm that deeper need as if it is already yours. Not “I want security,” but “I am secure.” Not “I want more opportunities,” but “Opportunities are open to me.”

Find the need. Then affirm the state you want to manifest.

01  |  “What if I lose my job?”

For many women, losing a job means losing security. The fear quickly grows: What if I can’t find another job? What if there are no opportunities for me?

Instead of affirming the fear, shift toward what you want: opportunity, value and financial security.

TRY THESE AFFIRMATIONS

Wherever I go, opportunity goes with me.

The right opportunities are always opening for me.

My skills are valuable, wanted and well rewarded.

I am surrounded by opportunity and financially secure.

02  |  “I can’t stand this workplace—but I need the income.”

An unhealthy workplace can mean constant pressure, disrespect or simply dreading going back. But when you depend on the income, leaving may not feel possible.

In the 2025 study, 45% of women said they didn’t feel they could leave their current job.

The state you want isn’t more money to tolerate it. It’s work where respect, well-being and financial security exist together.

TRY THESE AFFIRMATIONS

My work is a place where I thrive, grow and prosper.

I am valued, respected and well rewarded in a healthy workplace.

My work brings me fulfillment, peace and financial abundance.

My career supports my well-being, growth and prosperity.

03  |  “I’m working hard. Why is there still not enough?”

You work, earn and pay the bills—yet there never seems to be much room left. In the same study, 46% of women named monthly bills as a major financial stressor, while 34% worried about having enough to enjoy everyday life.

Financial well-being isn’t just getting by. It’s having enough to live well, too.

TRY THESE AFFIRMATIONS

Money flows into my life as naturally as a river. There is always enough.

My income flows steadily and supports me with ease.

My needs are fully met, with plenty left to enjoy.

Money flows to me through valuable and rewarding work.

04  |  “I want to give the people I love more.”

Maybe you want more choices for your children, to help your parents, or simply give your family a more comfortable life. But abundance doesn’t mean putting yourself last.

The life you want for them can include you, too.

TRY THESE AFFIRMATIONS

There is enough for them. There is enough for me.

My family is supported, secure and abundant.

I have more than enough to care for the people I love.

My abundance creates possibility for my family and for me.

05  |  “There’s so much of life I still want to experience.”

Travel. Take a real break. See more of the world. Sometimes wanting more money is simply wanting the freedom to experience more of life.

TRY THESE AFFIRMATIONS

My life is rich with experiences, freedom and possibility.

I have the resources to explore the world and enjoy my life.

I have time, freedom and abundance to experience more.

The world is open to me, and I move through it with ease.

What Does “More” Really Mean to You?

The next time you think “I need more money,” go one layer deeper. What do you really want it to give you—security, breathing room, the ability to provide, or freedom?

Find the need. Affirm the state. Live from there.

Money isn’t the only place we search for security. Sometimes, we search for it in another person.
